Ankit Upadhyay

Ankit Upadhyay is the Founder and General Partner of A2D Ventures, a digital-first startup investing platform connecting founders with a global network of angel investors, operators, VC funds and family offices backing early-stage startups across Southeast Asia. Through A2D Ventures, Ankit has built a global, cross-border community of angel investors, fund managers and family offices, supporting founders not only with capital but also mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to global networks. He is also the driving force behind Venture Spark, an accelerator designed to help early-stage founders in Thailand refine their strategy, venture building, and fundraising, and VentureGrid, a platform connecting founders globally with experienced operators, investors, and exited entrepreneurs for tactical mentorship. Alongside his work in venture, Ankit serves as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, advising on strategy and innovation in the semiconductor industry. Prior to building A2D Ventures, he worked across management consulting, e-commerce, and advanced manufacturing, including roles at Shopee, McKinsey & Co., UTAC and SanDisk. Ankit focuses on enabling ambitious founders build globally competitive companies from Southeast Asia and is passionate about strengthening the region’s startup ecosystem.

Sivach Sornchaitanasuk

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Sivach is an accomplished and seasoned operator with a remarkable background in the automotive industry. He served as an executive at Triumph Motorcycles, where his leadership and strategic acumen played a pivotal role in driving the company's extraordinary digital transformation achievements on a global scale. Leveraging his industry expertise and strong business acumen, he has made numerous strategic angel investments in promising startups across the United Kingdom and Thailand. He has also established a USD 20 million cryptocurrency fund under the name Avareum, which is a testament to his forward-thinking mindset and his belief in the transformative power of blockchain technology. He actively explores and invests in promising blockchain projects across Thailand, contributing to the evolution and advancement of the digital financial landscape in the country.
